Common Features for the following devices :

1) Comes with WinDaq data acquisition software and WinDaq Waveform Browser
2) All these devices are supported by UltimaSerial!

RS232 vs USB:

USB is the trend, but RS232 is much reliable in harsh/noisy environment .

DI-194

for
 Simple project and Student

RS232

1) Never seen a better value!
2) Four analog channels and three digital channels
3) Powered by the COM port
4) 10-bit resolution, or 20mV minimum voltage change (step) if you use the default input range (-/+10V)

Can't interface with most sensors directly, thus you may need to build your amplifier circuit for the sensor.
DI-154RS

great for
Voltage measurement

RS232

1) Higher resolution (12 bit), a great data acquisition device!
2) Four analog channels and three digital channels
3) Powered by the COM port
Can't interface with most sensors directly, thus you may need to build your amplifier circuit for the sensor.
DI-195B

for
industry users

RS232

1) Use industry standard 5B module to interface directly to various sensors, great for industry users!
2) Two analog channels and one digital channel
3) Higher resolution (12 bit)
4) It comes with a power supply, so you can supply excitation voltage to the sensor
You need to have an access to an AC power outlet
DI-148

USB

USB-based. Higher speed, digital and analog outputs
Powered by USB port

DI-158  USB USB-based. Higher resolution and gain control
DI-710

for
serious users

USB  USB-based. 14-bit resolution with gain control

This is also a true stand-alone data logger .

You can use DI-710 scheduler to specify stand-alone recording sessions for this product

DI-715

for
industry users

USB  USB-based. Signal conditioning front end

This is also a true stand-alone data logger

You can use DI-710 scheduler to specify stand-alone recording sessions for this product

DI-718

for
industry users

USB  USB-based. Signal conditioning front end

This is also a true stand-alone data logger

You can use DI-710 scheduler to specify stand-alone recording sessions for this product

What is a stand-alone data logger?:

A stand-alone data logger is a device that logs the data to its internal memory, such as SD memory card. To set up a stand-alone data logger, a PC is needed to connected to the data logger. Once the configuration is done, the data logger can be disconnected from the PC and ready to deploy.

Because Ultimaserial is a PC-based driver, it doesn't support features available only to stand-alone data loggers, but you can certainly use  DI-710 scheduler to specify stand-alone recording sessions for this product!
