DI-194
for
Simple project and Student |
$24.95!
(Plug right into the COM port) |
1) Never seen a better value!
2) Great and inexpensive tool to learn various
programming languages via a real-world instrument!
3) Four analog channels and three digital channels
4) Great for college or even high school projects!
5) Powered by the COM port
6) 10-bit resolution, or 20mV minimum voltage change (step) if you use the default input
range (-/+10V)
|
1) Can't interface with most sensors directly, thus you may need to build your amplifier
circuit for the sensor.
2) Can't provide excitation voltage |

Voltage measurement
|
$149.95 |
1) Great tool to learn various programming languages via a
real-world instrument!
2) Higher resolution (12 bit), a great data acquisition device!
3) Four analog channels and three digital channels
4) Directly interface with thermister
5) Powered by the COM port |
1) Can't interface with most sensors directly, thus you may need to build
your amplifier circuit for the sensor.
2) Can't provide excitation voltage |
| DI-195B
for
industry users |
$295
(Base Unit) +
at least $150 per channel for 5B modules |
1) Use industry standard 5B
module to interface directly to various sensors, great for industry users!
2) Two analog channels and one digital channel
3) Higher resolution (12 bit)
4) It comes with a power supply, so you can supply excitation voltage to the sensor
|
1) You need to have an access to an AC power outlet |
| DI-148 |
|
USB-based. If your PC has USB port, pick it! It
is much more useful than 194 in the long run with much higher speed, digital and analog
outputs! Powered by USB port |
|
| DI-158 |
|
USB-based. The bigger brother of DI-148, with higher resolution and gain
control |
|
| DI-710 for
serious users |
|
USB-based. 14-bit resolution with gain control This is also a true stand-alone data logger |
|
| DI-715 for
industry users |
|
USB-based. Signal conditioning front end This is also a true stand-alone data logger |

What is a stand-alone data logger?:
A stand-alone data logger is a device that logs the data to its internal memory, such
as SD memory card. To set up a stand-alone data logger, a PC or PDA is needed to connected
to the data logger. Once the configuration is done, the data logger can be disconnected
from the PC/PDA and ready to deploy.
Because Ultimaserial is a PC-based driver, it doesn't support any feature available
only to stand-alone data loggers.
